As the Acting Director Online & Content Communications you will be part of the GTP Communication team and will work closely to the Senior Vice President Communications with the responsibility to drive and continuously develop GTP's Online Communications and its content with the purpose to bring pride, engagement and motivation for the GTP employees as well as increase value for our stakeholders, suppliers and customers through our external channels. You will also be responsible for driving an increased utilization of the collaboration tools and social media.
Mission:
You will work closely with the business as well as constantly and actively broaden the global network, both within GTP and the rest of the Volvo Group. You will play an important strategic role in building internal engagement for the Purchasing employees both through internal and external channels.

Main responsibilities:
GTP 's online strategy and structure
The online competence within GTP
High quality and attractive intranet structure, content, postings and maintenance
Volvo Group Supplier Portal - structure, content, postings and maintenance
volvogroup.com supplier pages
Collaboration tools for networking, information sharing, virtual team meetings etc.
Daily monitoring the Newsdesk mailbox
Manage and develop the Volvo Group Purchasing Image Gallery/VGML
Act in close cooperation with other Volvo Group Divisions and Business Areas globally to efficiently develop and execute within the a greed plans and budget
Participate and being an active member of Volvo Group's online meetings, councils, committees and networks
Drive the weekly news desk meetings
Define synergies of the Volvo Group Purchasing internal and external news flow
Provide Volvo Group Magazine with GTP contribution for each issue
Plan and create content for GTP's Newsletters
Creation and editing of movies: Storyline/manuscript/recording /editing
Supplier Webcast coordination, responsible on contents, recording and publishing

Required competencies for the position:
The successful candidate is curious, creative and innovative with a continuous improvement mindset. You hold a University degree and are able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience. You have a documented experience within Online and content Communications of minimum five years. Experience in Volvo communication processes and tools are a merit, as well as a strong understanding of Volvo Group's business challenges of. But most of all, you have a positive, communicative & can-do mindset.
Extensive expertise and experience in the Volvo Group web platform and tools
Ability to demonstrate a clear vision and a global mindset of the Volvo Group Purchasing Online channels and content
Proactive to drive continuous improvements
Networking and team working skills with the ability to influence others to make things happen, but also develop and maintain relationships that inspire trust and respect
Plan, create, execute and follow-up on an annual and quarterly Online communication plans
Ability to identify a good story when you hear or see it
Strong written and oral communication skills and are comfortable using all modern media & IT-tools
You are curious to explore best practices, translate them and deliver on the desired outcome
Have a genuine interest in Social media/new technology. Creativity and curiosity to drive communication flow with speed
Proactive, structured and well-organized, able to prioritize in an efficient way
Proficient in IT tools (Microsoft office, Teamplace, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
Cope with working on a number of different communication tasks parallel with conflicting deadlines
