Lifesum is growing, and we are now searching for a new member of the Finance team to take on the role of Accounting and Finance Manager. Are you a self-starter with a natural aptitude for financial numbers and with strong skills in accounting? Then this is the position for you.

Responsibilities and what you will do
As our new Accounting and Finance Manager, you will work in a small but very talented team and own the accounting and financial reporting of Lifesum's legal entities in Sweden and the US. In this position, you will work with our outsourced accounting provider both in Sweden and the US. You will also:
• Be responsible for the month- and year-end closing processes/reconciliation
• Ensure accuracy and quality in accounting and reporting as well as securing correct and timely VAT and tax reporting
• Be responsible for the annual reports and audit process together with our auditor
• Be responsible for the cash flow planning and forecast as well as support other departments in finance-related questions
• Implement best practices, actively participate in improvement initiatives to standardize processes and controls
These are just the main areas that this position covers, but since the team is small you will have the opportunity to be a part of many other things.
Are you the one we're looking for?
To be successful in this position we believe that you need:
• A master's degree in a relevant area
• At least 5-7 years of professional experience within relevant areas
• Fluency in Swedish and English
• Experience in working with IFRS and knowledge of Swedish GAAP (K3)
• Hands-on experience in accounting software and excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated history of solving accounting and operational challenges, and excellent analytical skills
• Big Four audit firms and working in fast-growing companies is meritorious
• High level of independence
In order to succeed in this role you need a solid background in accounting and/or audit from the Big Four. We believe you thrive in a changing environment, but still have the focus to work in an organized manner and that you want to be a part of a fast-growing journey at Lifesum. Our long-term ambition is to build an in-house accounting team and this can be an opportunity for you to shape and lead the accounting function. You will report to the VP Finance.
If you, on top of this, have experience with in-housing of accounting functions, tech organizations, and are a strong project leader, you will definitely have a leg up on the competition.
Of course, we would be even happier if you have an interest in either health and fitness or food, but if you would rather chill on the sofa and watch Game of Thrones, you are equally welcome at Lifesum!
