OM TJÄNSTEN
LOTS Group is a fully owned subsidiary of Scania that offers transport services globally within specific industry segments. LOTS owns, runs and optimizes transport flows based on four pillars - Lean, new technology, customer-specific solutions and sustainability. The goal is to integrate and complement Scania's commercial and operational capabilities in order to face a future where new technology challenges Scania's core business. LOTS Finance & Controlling is a focal point for the company's strategic and operational work. The department leads the financial planning and forecasting and follows up on the operational activities and ensures that the company is run in the right direction.
The company is growing steadily and is now looking for an Accountant to strengthen the reporting and accounting function centrally. LOTS is characterized by a wonderful culture and family feeling. The job is based at the LOTS Stockholm office, which is close to the central station. LOTS applies hybrid offices that offer flexibility to partially work from home depending on tasks and in agreement with the manager.
ARBETSUPPGIFTER
In your role as Accounting Economist, you will play a key role in the reporting of LOTS subsidiaries. Your direct manager will be the group's CFO. In the daily work, you will work closely with the head of global accounting and reporting (GARM), who has overall responsibility for all the company's accounting and reporting issues. Furthermore, you will support in ad hoc reporter/issues and group-wide projects led by GARM, as well as in process improvement work and policy implementation. You work with freedom under responsibility and will be part of a team with a total of five economists at the head office.
Your main duties and responsibilities will initially be:
• Monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Participate in the LOTS group's monthly financial reporting to Scania.
• Participate in accounting support for all operations.
• Participate in projects/lead projects at the head office.
LOTS is part of a global organization, which means that you may occasionally need to travel to the USA or Canada.
VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for you that:
• Has a bachelor's degree in accounting or other relevant post-secondary education.
• Has very good knowledge of MS Office programs - especially Excel.
• Is structured and detail-focused, but can zoom out and see the whole picture.
• Has relevant work experience in a similar role where you have, for example, worked as an accountant and taken part in monthly and annual closings and reports.
• Has godd knowledge in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing.
It is meritorious for the position if you:
• Has previous experience in project management.
• Has previous experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite, Hyperion or SAP).
