As an Accountant at Nordisk Alkali, you fulfill a business critical role. You will mainly be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the Nordic financial records and collaborate closely with our international Finance Shared Services team. You will play a big part in helping us to meet important reporting deadlines, regarding monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
The objectives of the service (role),is compliance of VAT, income tax, other company taxes, intrastat, SCN, audit, annual statutory accounts, first point of contact for annual statutory audit done by Deloitte, annual reports at the Swedish Companies Registration Office/ Bolagsverket.
Overall we expect you to be in control of the finances. Keeping the history correct and keep in line of whats expected.
HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL
We believe You are someone with a solid experience in accounting with a proven track record of leading the accounting process (mainly as shown above) in a complex setting with many stakeholders involved. You are based in Sweden, but you already have some experience in working on an international scale and are used to collaborating with Shared Service Center or similar.
Skills and requirements
3+ years background in the accounting field as shown above
Strong understanding of local accounting rules, and statutory reporting on the Swedish and Danish market
Strong experience in internal controls and preparing monthly and annual closings
Fluency in Swedish/English is a strict requirement for this role
Meritorious skills
Experience from a large global Company
Hands-on experience in Dynamics
Experience from French or German accounting rules and regulations are a big plus
