We operate within the common ERP platform named One4AL with the Lawson software M3 – formerly known as Movex - as a base.
The key responsiblity will be to
lead, recruit, retain and develop the team, consisting of 5 employees make sure that Alfa Laval WE One4AL companies have a working process that enables that we get paid according to agreed payment terms resolve complicated issues like misapplied payments and handle issues like collecting payments on delinquent accounts manage and lead the colleagues in the Accounts receivable team that invoices customers and record customer payments produce regular reports that detail what monies were received and what accounts are outstanding evaluate the DSO development and receivable aging in WENA (West Europe, North America) ensure unified standardized system settings and data integrity across various data bases participate and lead the group in system development work and represent the Accounts Receivable function and process towards all stakeholders act as system owner for the GetPaid application be a member of the Alfa Laval Europe AB management team
Personal profile and qualifications
You have a University degree in accounting, finance or an associate's degree in book-keeping or accounting At least 7 years years of work experience in the accounts receivable field is preferred To be considered for this position you should have at least five years people management experience (development, performance management and team building) Your personality is open, friendly and serviceminded, a high degree of integrity, motivation and drive To use and develop efficient IT-tools as well as speak and write in English is natural for you Since the job requires extensive contacts both with our IT/IS organisation as well as with our sales companies – you find it easy to communicate and co-operate across functions
