Description
The Purchasing team consists of 25 people located in Sweden working side by side with a Chinese Purchasing team. Buyers, SQ-engineers and Cost engineers forms a strong team to support all future projects, both service and vehicle projects.
You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams, and quick learning cycles are the keys to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.
We will ensure that you have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!
This role also involves:
- Responsible for Supplier selections within own area of responsibility
- Establish, negotiate and maintain purchase contracts
- Resolve supplier payment issues, critical capacity issues
- Manage commercial supplier launch issues Manage tool moves process, incl. coordination cross-functional
- Monitor supplier performance Purchasing responsible in Change Management process
- Responsible for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) within own area of responsibility
- Global travelling to suppliers / partners is a part of the role.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Technical, Economic or Legal University degree or equivalent experience,
- Extensive experience in advanced purchasing activities in industry,
- Relevant experience in the automotive industry,
- Knowledge and experience of the Chinese supplier base is a valuable advantage,
- Senior experience to negotiating major business contracts,
- You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written
- Drivers licens B

- Have the ability to work x-functional within purchasing and supply chain,
- Be easy to work with for both internal and external "partners",
- Work to establish mutually profitable business relationships (win-win)

Terms
NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
