At the moment we are looking for CFD-engineser assigned at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery in Finspång.
Assignment description
There is an increased workload regarding turbine aerodynamics and there for
Siemens need to add resources to the Turb Aero-HT- and combustor-group. They want to bring in a young promising aerodynamicist to the groups with the intention to offer a permanent position at a later stage. It is important that the consultant sees this position as an opportunity to try working for Siemens and that he/ she shares this intention.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Educationalwise we are looking for a mechanical engineer (MSc or higher) who has a clear focus on fluid dynamics, areodynamics and thermodynamics and/or heat transfer and thermodynamics.
* Previous experience from turbomachinery, CFD and / or fluid dynamics experiments is requested.
* Also skills in development of technical tools or software (programming) is an advantage.
* StarCCM+-knowledge is a merit.
* Knowledge in Swedish is an advantage and good written and spoken English is a must.
* Personal properties requested are to be thorough, systematic, and a solution finder, skilled in communication, ability to take initiatives and come up with proposals how to solve a problem.
