Proven and seasoned Development Producer to help determine and realize the goals and tasks of our talented development partners in Stockholm. The Producer will work in unison with the developer's Production staff to harness said goals and tasks into a workable, attainable, trackable and reliable development plan. A successful result will be a true and detailed plan that all parties can believe will deliver at AAA quality, on time and on budget.
While the Producer will be expected to fully integrate themselves into the day-to-day operations of the development team.. The Producer will be interfacing frequently with production staff in Los Angeles in regards to developer-side status, progress and issues. .
The Producer will be required to build a strong and productive relationship with a Creative Director who will also be embedded with the developer. While the Producer will be tasked with ensuring that the creative vision, led by the Creative Director, is being communicated, shared and implemented by the dev team, they will also be responsible for ensuring that said vision remains feasible and achievable under the time and budget restraints of the project as a whole.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee, evaluate, track and as necessary, play a major part in the project's Development Plan in full partnership with the external development team. This will include, but not be limited to:
o Generation and maintenance of Development Schedule
o Planning and execution of Milestone Deliverables
o Evaluation of Project Metrics and Capacity Planning
o An understanding of Agile development methodology
o Interpreting and tracking Project Backlogs
o Lead/participate in Scoping Exercises (as necessary), focused foremost on project needs and timelines
• Ensure Project Documentation meets defined requirements and is delivered on time as part of Milestones
• Practice open and early communication as much as possible to ensure that Production Management is aware of any "fires" brewing
• Forge strong, successful partnership with
o The product's Development team. Manage daily communication with dev studio partners to ensure relationship stays healthy, open and productive. Solicit help from PD whenever necessary to continue positive relationship tactics.
o Your PD counterpart(s) in Marketing/PR to make certain that they are getting the support they to maintain our Phase Deliverables to the highest possible quality
o On-site Creative Director to support his efforts in game shaping with the dev team. At the same time, be aware of the scheduling and resourcing realities of the project enough to temper design goals and expectations such that we can always forecast the dev team achieving the goals set out for them on time and on budget.
• Track every deliverable per Milestone and make sure that all expected deliverables are completed by the end of a Milestone or major project phase.
o Deviations and exceptions from the list of expected deliverables should be elevated to the Production Team.
• As necessary, enter and track identified Development Issues to resolution using a designated online Feedback tracking tool such as JIRA or SharePoint
• Attend Weekly Meetings with the New Product Development Group (NPDG) which consist of the Consumer Value Group (CVG) and Development Planning Group (DPG)
o Be aware of , and as necessary enact on-the-ground action plans to address concerns brought forth by either group
o Review the ongoing dev-side status of those action plans with PD team
• Open, early and honest communication with PD to determine best way to work with the developer in difficult areas that arise from time to time in game development.
• Travel required at least once a quarter to represent project findings in Phase meetings.

• Minimum 5 years experience working as a Producer or Senior Producer in the videogame industry
• Successful track record in the development of high profile entertainment software products
• Shipped at least 4 titles (multi-platform) in a Producer role
• Proven track record with highly-sensitive, license-based projects
• Strong management experience in a team atmosphere
• Multi-language localization experience
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
Knowledge/Skills
• Practical experience in setting, guiding and evaluating multiple styles of production processes.
• Flexibility in process to maximize a variety of team strengths and personalities
• Ability to identify, address and repair inefficiencies in pipelines both technical and logistical
• Excellent written, oral and email communication skills
• Strong project and time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences on a broad range of topics, e.g. technical, business and creative
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Enthusiastic, positive and team-oriented
• Ability to work under tight schedules and high-stress environments
• Excellent understanding of team dynamics
• An understanding of both console and PC development.
• Strong ability to delegate and define clear outcomes to subordinates
• Strong understanding of statistics and data collection
• Ability to balance strong personal passion with ability to respond to external aesthetic requirements
• PC/Internet Skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Explorer, Hansoft, FTP, etc.
Preferred Experience
• Shipped titles in a Senior Producer role
• Scrum/Agile experience. Scrum Master certification preferred.
• Experience working with external and/or internal developers on multi-SKU projects
• Bachelor's degree
