IDTM is expanding and is currently looking for a qualified applicant to fill the position of Vice President (VP) & Chief Operating Officer (COO) at our headquarters in Lidingö, outside Stockholm, Sweden. IDTM's Operations Department is the global team that makes sure IDTM's complex world-wide anti-doping testing activities run smoothly. The VP & COO is responsible for managing IDTM's Operations Department and will also assist the CEO as needed and assume responsibilities on a daily basis during CEO's absence as well as being responsible for running operations in subsidiaries, for example Russia and in the U.S.
In this role you will ensure that the Operations Department has the necessary resources allocated, both internally and externally, in order to deliver the anti-doping service in accordance with client contracts. Furthermore ensure consistent processes and standards of excellence as well as direct management of Doping Control Network consisting of over 250 certified doping control officers world-wide.
The COO is part of the IDTM Managerial Group and reports to the CEO.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• Proven leadership skills and team management
• Experience in strategic resourcing, budgeting and staff management
• Fluent in English language, orally and written
• Experience from international business and/or other relevant international experience, preferably within service and/or logistic industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Skilled negotiator

You have furthermore knowledge of driving process improvements and have an analytical and strategic approach together with a pragmatic sense of getting things done. You also have knowledge of competitive sports and/or sports markets. Previous experience in the field of anti-doping is considered an advantage, but not a must.
About the position
The position is a full time position to start immediately. The head office is situated on Lidingö, 10 minutes commuting distance from the center of Stockholm, Sweden.
