YOUR ROLE

You will lead our team at Group Functions Learning & Development (L&D) who plays a key role to enable Saab Learning Landscape where employees have access to learning experiences to successfully perform and bring even more business value! L&D works closely with Group Strategy to provide the framework for strategic workforce planning and the assessment of needs for competence. L&D provides processes and expertise on how to translate needs into learning solutions. To be in the forefront L&D is involved in several industrial learning projects where you and your team play an important role.

The main tasks are:

* Enable that business needs are translated into strategies and global end-to-end learning solutions to fill gaps for common short and long term competence development needs
* Secure that we continuously develop and strengthen learning opportunities by finding new ways to offer learning and create relevant curricula and learning paths in close cooperation with our content partners
* Responsible for the establishment of common ways of working and quality assurance within the learning area
* Be overall responsible for building a strong continuous learning culture with focus on learning in the flow of work
* Utilize learning-related data to perform analysis as a base for decisions, measuring effectiveness, usage and the impact of our initiatives
* Be part of steering groups for external industry and university collaboration projects, global projects and other initiatives within the L&D area

YOUR PROFILE

You will play an important role in our ongoing learning transformation and you are driven by a passion to develop people and the learning area. You are a senior leader with extensive experience leading the L&D area in an international environment. You have a strong drive and ability to create business value in a complex environment both short and long term. You are team oriented and a source of inspiration who likes to coach others for results.


Required skills:

* A relevant academic degree
* Extensive experience in leading an L&D area in a global context
* Ability to develop, inspire and provide the team with a clear sense of direction
* Experience in learning transformation and change management
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, both in Swedish and English
* Strong collaboration and networking skills

Desired skills:

* Background/interest in technology
* Strong planning and problem-solving skills
* Solid experience in interaction with suppliers, industry and university collaboration projects

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

The L&D core team of six direct reports are located in Linköping, Stockholm and Karlskoga. You will also lead the extended global L&D team with representatives from the business HR organisations. The Head of Learning & Development may be located in either Saab HQ, Stockholm or Linköping. Trips between the two sites will be frequent. You will report to the Head of Group HR.
