You'll thrive and excel as our new Verification Engineer, and you'll be the one that develops the Verification processes in accordance with established product-, quality- and capacity requirements to fulfill end Customer demands and Volvo Car Plants.The position will be placed in Skövde.
What you'll do
As a team member of the Verification Engineering team you will be responsible for reviewing the detailed product specification and apply verification methods according to applicable standards and KPI's. You will work closely together with Product & Process Engineers and P&Q to achieve LEAN manufacturing Products & Processes. You will also:
* Develop/prepare/implement verification methods and equipment for all Product demands within all Power system Manufacturing systems (Testing, Machining Assembly)
* Be the verification expert in projects within Advanced Engineering Tasks and in day-to-day problem solving, Kaizen groups etc.
* Follow the development within the area through supplier contacts, supplier visits, trade fairs, educational visits and other sources of information.
* Represents ME within the specialist area Verification.

To succeed in the role you need to be driven and a coaching person, you will use these two traits on a daily basis with the suppliers. In order to fully enjoy the job you also need to like working independently and you like to take initiative. To build relationships and maintain relationships with the suppliers comes naturally for you because you are a communicative individual. Lastly, you like using your communication skills to coach and drive the suppliers forward.
Do you fit the profile?
* Bachelor's degree within the technical area or equivalent experience
* Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Verified competence and capable to use quality tools & methods
* Fluent in both spoken and written English,
* Excellent Communication and presentation skills
Meritorious
* Experience in PPAP APQP PSW
