A person that understands the verification challenges of today and wants to improve the verification of tomorrow. A person that not only comes up with intelligent testing methods but also puts them into practice! Your approach to building product knowledge is data driven and you can apply machine learning!
So who are we?
We are the System Verification Groups at Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Volvo Group Trucks Technology in Gothenburg!
And what do we do?
Our groups perform verification of the trucks electrical system including End-to-End functions and Framework. Furthermore we are responsible for coordination and planning of integration and verification locally as well as globally for our Heavy Duty range of trucks. Within our scope of responsibility lies the work with development of new test methods, processes, tools and the need for test equipment.
Why do we do that?
We do this in order to secure that the electrical system (the soul of the truck) is behaving according to requirements as well as Volvos high expectation on our products and thereby being a candidate for release.
In essence we are a bunch of highly motivated and skilled engineers that love our work and use our creativity and current tools to secure product quality. As a part of our section you will get a very good overview of the trucks complete electrical system and the trucks functionality.
We trust the individual and act as a team, are close to the product and provide an opportunity for professional and personal growth.
Who are you?
Well, we believe that you are genuinely interested in software- and electronics engineering and like to solve problems only once! On top of that you have customer focus, delivery precision, patience, a coaching mind-set and good communication skills! On par with the rest of our team you are curious, positive, pro-active and want to transform the automotive business!
Requirements
M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, IT or recognised equivalent.
Knowledge of Integration & Verification and/or SW development is a merit.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Truck knowledge is merit.
