The Challenge Ahead
Ghost Games is looking for a Vehicle Handling Designer to join our AAA game development team. You?ll work closely with the Designers and other disciplines to help create a great experience for gamers.
What a Vehicle Handling Designer does at EA:
You will be responsible for helping create and maintain a world class second-to-second experience through using the game systems / data within our game and iterating them up to high quality.
As a Handling Designer you will collaborate with many disciplines within our team to create compelling and cohesive gameplay.
You need to be an effective communicator in order to understand and interpret feedback to make iterative improvements both in theory and in game. You will also document these processes and present the data if necessary.
The next great EA Handling Designer needs:
A meticulous nature with great attention to detail
Great knowledge of the NFS franchise and other games in the genre
Excellent spoken and written English skills; must be articulate
A basic knowledge of vehicle physics
The ability to take direction, work independently and maintain focus on your goals
A desire to succeed!
It would be advantageous to have:
Previous game development experience
Engineering/Basic vehicle dynamics background
Familiarity working with coders and/or base knowledge of code
A hardcore gamer with previous modding experience
Experience with Scripting
