ISH was established in 1995 to answer a growing demand for a truly international education at the Primary and Secondary levels. Today, we have approximately 850 students between 3 and 19 years of age attending our school across all programmes. The school delivers the International Baccalaureate curriculum.

The aim of our school is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.

Our teachers come from more than 30 different countries all and the same goes for our students. English is the primary language at the school.

Our Preschool, Primary and Middle School programmes offer an alternative for international families who are residing in the Helsingborg region on a temporary basis, or for those moving overseas. Our Diploma Program is an excellent choice for all students, Swedish or International, looking to further their studies abroad or in Sweden once they graduate.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
The primary work of the school caretaker is to support and provide service to the business. The duties include general property management, some maintenance of premises and equipment and monitoring of security systems. The service also includes performing checks in the systematic fire protection work. You will purchase materials and log building defects via computer systems. You will also oversee collection and receival of delivered goods. You take care of our indoor premises and our outdoor environment, ensuring they function well for our schools needs. Together with the school's administrative team, you will work with ensuring quality facilities with a long-term perspective.

This position is based at our MYP & DP Campus at Nicolai skolan.

Kvalifikationer
You have property management training or other relevant training. You have experience as a caretaker and as a craftsman. You are flexible because the tasks vary from day to day. You have a good ability to find solutions and can work in teams with a high degree of independence. You should be a good problem solver who likes challenges.

Communicative ability and good attitude are important.

Given the ever changing needs of a school environment, it is important that you can sometimes work under pressure. The work can sometimes be physically demanding. You also have knowledge and interest in technical equipment and good computer experience. B driving license is required.

You should be able to create good relationships with both students and staff. A genuine commitment to the best of the business is a prerequisite!

You possess good proficiency in both English and Swedish languages.
