The Mission
SKF Communication studio is taking the next exiting step in developing to a full-service communication agency. Already today we are a well-established in-house agency, with a traditional marketing material production focus, and in creating technical catalogues and handbooks. We are strong in adaptations and creating material for employees and strategic presentations. The time has come for us to widen our scope and expand our service offer and strengthen our creative competencies, by building a creative team.
Currently there are some 30 employees based in Gothenburg Sweden, Schweinfurt Germany and Luton UK.
The Opportunity
As User Interface Design/Digital Creator your main task is to improve the experience of website users. You determine the overall structure and flow of information on web pages and websites. You also ensure that users of websites and corporate intranets can navigate them logically and intuitively to find the information they need. Its all about selecting the right interface elements - like text, buttons, text fields, color coded lists, etc - for the task the user is trying to accomplish and arranging them on the screen in a way that will be readily understood and easily used. The goal is make the user's interaction as efficient and simple as possible.
You inspire the existing in-house staff, and, at the same time, implement industry best practices into the in-house structure.
Together with other digital experts in the Group develop SKF's digital presence and support SKF Group and local markets in their digital development.
You are responsible for our digital visual and graphical approach, and you make sure our creative work embodies SKF tone of voice. For us it is key to have consistency in content, motion graphics and design across industries.
With the rest of the creative team you select the partners needed to best serve the communication. You oversee and approve the final production to preserve the integrity of the idea. Iteratively, in cooperation with customers, clients, and colleagues, develop the corporate identity.
You

You are up-to-date with the latest techniques, tools and principles of visual design. You have a natural curiosity for the current trends in society, business and technology.
