team to lead the Additive Manufacturing (AM) segment activities and we need you.

This is your mission
You will be leading the purchasing activities on your scope with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the customers maximum satisfaction. That means that you will own and develop the global Segment Business Plan on Additive Manufacturing for GTP; scout and seek for the best suppliers plus bring creative and innovative solutions on this segment on the whole value chain (challenge design, sourcing & contract, procurement). You will also lead the Global segment negotiations and supplier performance reviews, manage your purchasing portfolio for service parts in order to secure the best QDCF-TSR performance and perform purchasing activities related to ordering, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers. A part of your mission will also be to:
Manage the buyers network and stimulate the business knowledge within the team on eligible segments for additive manufacturing (deploy strategy, share potential/preferred suppliers, facilitate best practices sharing, cost breakdowns, cost drivers, spend analysis, etc.)
Identify synergies with other Business Areas when relevant; make sure that the Volvo Group takes out the best of the market and the technology potentialities
Find out and promote business opportunities for Additive Manufacturing with the Brands organizations
Together with Innovative Purchasing team, get Additive Manufacturing to become a daily reality for buyers and engineers
Mentor and help to develop colleagues
Foster the Volvo values (customer success, trust, passion, change and performance)

We also believe that you have:
Master degree in Business, Engineering, supply chain or related field
6 years' experience of buyer experience, automotive is a plus
High effective written and verbal communication (English)
Extensive experience negotiating and interacting with suppliers
Willingness to travel from occasionally to frequently based on ongoing activities
Experience in additive manufacturing and/or powder technologies is a plus!
