Global External Sourcing (GES) is accountable for sourcing and supply of externally manufactured products into the AstraZeneca network. GES are organized in a Process Centric Organization (PCO) with two main processes; Supply to Customer and Establish New Supply to Customer, with a high focus on cross-functional team work.

PEMA People is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to an assignment at AstraZeneca in Södertälje.

The Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC) is an active member of in particular the Supply to Customer process, with daily interactions with customers and other roles within GES such as Supply Chain Leads (SCL), QA, Asset Planners, Customer Relationship Managers, Packaging Coordinators and Supplier Relationship Managers.

The work is executed in a global high-paced environment, with strong focus on cross-functional collaboration with other roles such as Supply Chain Leads, QA, Asset Planners, Customer Relationship Managers, Packaging Coordinators, International Distribution Coordinators, Project Managers and Supplier Relationship Managers. The nature of the role with a high number of internal and external contacts requires the ability to be flexible and constantly prioritize and make assessments on where time best is spent in order to operate effectively in the role.

Main Responsibilities:

Operationally coordinate supply of products in alignment with our customer 's demand and agreed stock levels, following the process for the agreed supply method (VMI/CMI), ensuring stock levels are in line with RBU.

Process customer orders, raising purchase orders to suppliers in line with contractual requirements and receipting stock on delivery from suppliers.

You will act as the primary point of contact with suppliers/customers regarding demand, supplier 's ability to meet demand and day-to-day delivery plan and represent the customer/supplier/product in the relevant PCO control room to ensure issue escalation and resolution without impact to supply.

Build and develop a number of effective relationships with colleagues in the Planning team, other members in the PCO control rooms and with the suppliers and customers in a given portfolio.

Work with the customers to create a clean demand picture in order to achieve robust supply plans and clean orders for execution.

You will be responsible for the accurate maintenance of systems master data within a given portfolio and for accurately measuring and reporting key performance indicators.

You will lead and participate in Practical Problem Solving and Continuous Improvements teams and have sufficient skills and knowledge of the artwork change management processes to deliver changes to product 's packaging materials in cooperation with Packaging Coordinators and in line with market implementation dates.

Part of your role will be to ensure consistent delivery with the GES supply management framework i.e. one way of working across the organization regardless of geographic location or portfolio.

You will also be involved with SOx compliance, i.e. ensuring all stock audits, stock reconciliations and account management controls are completed accurately, ensuring transactional activities are carried out in line with DoA and with Segregation of Duty principles and actively contributing to GES projects and work streams.

As a SCC there may be other opportunities which may arise within the team which include activities such as developing and executing production plans, overseeing a small team of Supply Chain Coordinators, supporting change initiatives and developing budget and resource plans.

Minimum Requirements:
• 2+ years in Supply Chain Environment (Manufacturing, Planning)
• Understanding of different supply methods (IRL, VMI/CMI, Flow, Kanban)
• Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Commercially aware
• Globally and culturally aware
• Comfortable in defining new processes and seeking to continuously improve existing processes
• Able to rapidly adapt to a constantly changing environment
• Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Able to multi task and prioritize a number of projects or initiatives
• Proficient in using key Lean Tools & comfortable owning problems and seeing them through to a resolution

Preferred Background:
• Education requirements: A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred, equivalent experience will be taken into account.
• Experience in participating in the S&OP process
• Commercial experience is a plus
• SAP ERP (MRP) knowledge
