The company has a central testing laboratory for vacuum cleaners and other small appliances in Stockholm, which supports the whole European organization in the development of new products and maintenance of existing products.

You will be working in our development laboratory with testing and verifying of new solutions for existing and future products. It will be your duty to perform the tests, to analyse the results in a structured way, and to give alternative solutions to possible problems.

Main responsibilities:
• Test according to IEC standards, national and internal regulations
• Perform analysis of all relevant new products on the market
• Investigate and solve quality problems
• Carry out your own activity in the lab/test execution
• Evaluate test results and create new solutions and improvements
• Design test set-up and test verification to evaluate and support systems and components

You will report to the Operational Leader of the Lab and the Manager of the Technology & Lab Center.

Competencies needed:
• Bachelors degree in engineering or similar knowledge level
• Creative and pro-active in translating knowledge from testing into proposals for improvements
• A few years of experience in product development or testing
• Ability to deal with international test standards
• Strong capabilities to communicate with management and colleagues in the own product organization, as well as external suppliers, testing institutes and service centers
• Organized and a structured way of working
• Prepared to travel
• Good knowledge in both English and Swedish
