The Center for Economic Statistics (CES) at the Stockholm School of Economics seeks candidates for a tenure track Assistant Professor position. The position at CES is open to candidates experienced in applied Statistics/Econometrics in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing or Management. This position also offers the possibility of a co-affiliation with one of the departments: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing and Strategy or Management and Organization. The research is therefore encouraged to be carried out in collaboration with the affiliated department. The preferred starting date is January 2017.
Job Qualifications
Candidates should have an established record of quality research and teaching. Candidates should be able to provide high-quality teaching within all courses given by CES, encompassing BSc, MSc, and PhD courses in statistics and econometrics. Since some of the courses are taught in Swedish, fluency in Swedish is considered to be a merit.
Applicants should have completed their PhD in Statistics/Econometrics or in Economics, Finance or Business Administration using statistical/econometrical methods.
Since a majority of our faculty members at CES are men, applicants with a gender other than male are encouraged to apply.
