hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Telescope Software AB i Lund For our office in Lund and our clients within telecommunication in Skåne/Sweden we are looking for a telecom engineer to work with research and development of antennas for mobile handsets, including switching and MIMO technology.
You will be working with technology studies as well as with real phone projects. This includes simulations and hands-on design of antennas and antenna system as well as characterize the design in the measurement facilities. Ability to to interpret the requirements that are the basis for antenna design is required. Ability to quickly adapt to changed scope, constraints and requirements of the current assigned project/task is required.
Required competence:
• ) Basic knowledge in antenna theory, understanding the terminology and measurable antenna parameters at gigahertz frequencies.
• ) Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in antenna design for mobile handsets.
• ) Basic understanding of antenna measurement technology at gigahertz frequencies and antenna measurement chambers.
• ) Basic understanding and usage of network analyzer.
• ) Basic knowledge and hands-on experience of simulation tools and simulations of antennas at gigahertz frequencies.
• ) It is required to be able to communicate in English both orally and in writing, including technical English.
• ) It is required to be able to do independent work as well as be part of a team.
Preferred experience:
• ) Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in antenna design under challenging mechanical constraints and/or knowledge of MIMO, switching technology and impedance matching/tuning all at gigahertz frequencies.
• ) Basic understanding and usage of communication testers.
• ) Basic hands-on experience of soldering components.
Start: June 2012.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week.
