We would like you to be an excellent communicator who is a great team-player and performs well in a rapidly-changing environment.
Main responsibilities and duties:
• Explain technically complex concepts in clear, concise English that can be understood by an average or non-native reader of English.
• Design, create, and maintain various materials including integration and user guides and online help materials.
• Prepare and manage localization of projects as needed.
• Participate as an active member of pre-study, scrum, and writing teams to improve product and process offerings across the Net Entertainment suite.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization to deliver efficient, accurate deliverables.
• Participate in design and peer reviews of documentation projects.
• Acquire and maintain expertise in tools required to produce our materials.
• Act as a user advocate in an effort to deliver materials that enhance the user experience.
• Support game writing projects as needed.
• Follow all internal standards, processes, and templates to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables.
• Working with single-sourcing of information.
• Working with build/condition tags.
• Handle multi-task and handle more than one Scrum teams/projects at a time.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, as well as excellent communications skills.
Previous experience and knowledge:
You have worked for at least 5 years as a technical writer and have experience working with online and print materials. You have good knowledge in HTML and XML. Experience of localization is considered a merit.
Education:
You have a university degree, preferably with qualification in either technical communication or IT.
Language skills:
You are either a native English speaker or have superb English skills. It is considered a merit if you are fluent in Swedish, however this is not a requirement as all materials are produced in English.
