hela Sverige We are currently looking for a customer-focused Technical Services Specialist to join our office in Göteborg. As part of the Johnson Controls -former legacy Tyco Fire Protection Products- sales organization, the Technical Services Specialist will be responsible for offering technical sales support and training for our customer based in the Nordic Region.
As a Technical Services Specialist, you will be spend much of your time in close contact with customers as you will offer these a range of services. You will provide our customers with technical and specification support as you demonstrate the various types of fire protection systems utilized in the industry today. You will also build and deliver the necessary training for both customers and internal employees. In addition, you will provide advice and support projects by applying Tyco solutions according to international codes and standards (such as NFPA, FM, EN or VDS. Finally, you will also aid the design of applications for specific water based fire protection systems which occasionally could include providing field support for solving technical issues.
This role as a Technical Services Specialist requires you to have a drive for customer contact, as well as for training customers and internal employees within your field of expertise. You have an ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain relevant technological and business-related concepts to customers. As of such, you also possess strong written and oral communication skills in English. You are a proactive problem-solver with an analytical mindset and an eye for details.
You likely hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or within a similar field. You have a general knowledge of fire protection engineering, and you understand and know how to apply standards such FM, NFPA and EN12845. You have a minimum of three years' experience in CAD software, and you have worked with the designing and engineering of sprinkler systems, enabling you to understand the systems and piping layouts. Finally, you are well versed in MS Office Suite, as well as proficient in the use of SprinkCAD and/or AutoCAD, and perhaps you also know your way in Salesforce and SAP.
