About the position
Your primarily responsibility will be to manage software development projects and work to ensure the on-time and on-budget delivery of software solutions. Your work efforts will focus on collection of the business requirements and technology objectives; assembly of the project team; creation of the project plan; management of the associated work efforts; collaboration with both internally and externally involved parties; risk mitigation; status communication; and delivery of the product through to production. You will be working on multiple projects across multiple technical areas and business units.
Key Accountabilities
• Work with internal and external stakeholders located worldwide to define project requirements.
• Produce scope documentation for projects and manage to it throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple key projects at a time, with accountability to prioritize work and ensure all project timelines are met.
• Manage risks and issues effectively by resolving or escalating to the appropriate individuals.
• Monitor project progress and report performance against plan
• Manage change control process.
• Maintain project documentation according to team methodology (risk and issue log, project plan, change control, status reports, etc.).
• Explain technical concepts in a coherent way to audiences within all levels of an organization.
To perform well in this position, technical understanding must be combined with the ability to handle complex business situations and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. You will strive to become a subject matter expert in the technologies and systems associated with Digital River World Payments.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
What we would like to see most of all is someone with a flexible attitude who is self-motivated and goal oriented. What ideally would intrigue us is the following:
• B.A. or B.S. in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years direct experience as a Project Manager on software development projects, payments or bank/financial related projects.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven ability to get results in a complex, often ambiguous environment.
• Good verbal and written communication in English and preferably in Swedish
• Capability of managing project resources from various cultures, distributed worldwide.
• Capability to act and react to challenges and opportunities, solving or escalating any given situation, demonstrating accountability for the project direction and results.
• Flexibility to travel.
