ABOUT THE POSITION
As Technical Product Owner, you will be a key figure in our organization, acting as a bridge between IT and our product managers. Using your passion and drive, you will continuously manage the relationships with our product team and software developers, always in constant interaction with other internal stakeholders.
As a Technical Product Owner, you will have the full responsibility of ensuring and orchestrating that our Benify Portal are in the forefront and of top-of -the-class quality.
You will own the development backlog and make sure that the teams are constantly doing the right things, and have a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt and providing maintenance and support. You will make a huge impacton Benifys journey towards World Domination.
YOUR MISSION
• Responsible for developing and improving our products together with our development team and product managers
• Communicate to the organization and involve resources from other teams to make sure new feature are seamlessly integrated into the company's workflow and operations
• Serve as link between our product managers and the development team, keep track of requirements and make sure the development process runs smoothly
• Take technical ownership of the product vision and continuously challenge standards for how things are working today to find improvements
WHO ARE YOU
To succeed in this role, you probably consider yourself a problem solver out of this world! Since you will have external as well as internal contact areas, it is important that you have great communication skills. You have shown strong project management skills in your past roles. Further, we think that you have an analytical mindset and believe you can get your head around complex problems.
Besides a great personality we're looking for candidates with the following background:
• You have a Master university degree in engineering, IT or a comparable field of study
• Experience with issue tracking software, e.g. Jira (Atlassian)
• Excellent knowledge in Agile product ownership and processes, such as SCRUM & Kanban
• You have at least five years of experience after your university degree and minimum two years as a product owner in a software engineering environment
• You have a great business, commercial & customer mindset (metrics, growth, usage, customer value, profitability)
• You are customer oriented and excellent at dealing with complicated customer requirements and have been involved in client deliveries
• Your language skills in both English and Swedish must be fluent
It's a great plus if you:
• Have a background in Software Development
• Leadership Experience
Extra, extra plus if you:
• Interest in delicious food, exercise, board games, movie nights, and clean code!
You will report to Head of Global Product Management.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Start date: ASAP, but we prefer "Ms/Mr Right" to "Ms/Mr Right Now"
Location: Gothenburg. This role will include travelling to our Stockholm office one time/week.
