Who is your future team?
The Marketing Communications team delivers various media such as videos, animations, collaterals, infographics, newsletters, web banners, illustrations, installation guides, and more. Our role is to maintain brand consistency and provide efficient communication to different target groups.
What you'll do here as Technical graphic designer?
We are looking for an experienced Technical graphic designer to join the Marcom Production team. You will focus on illustrations and graphics that are mostly used for marketing- and sales purposes. In your daily work you will be creating high quality graphics and illustrations, for both print and digital use.
Main responsibilities:
* Create illustrations that explains how Axis products and solutions work in different environments, mainly isometric scenario illustrations.
* Create illustrations for different usage such as for packaging, schematics, sales material, infographics, etc.
* You will be part of the Illustration team and work closely with project owners, regions, and rest of communications team to deliver different types of illustrations.
* Together with the illustration team, share the responsibility for improving guidelines, workflows, and processes.
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We believe you are a creative person with the ability to understand and translate highly technical information into illustrations. We believe you have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in information design or informative illustrations, graphic design, mechanical design, computer graphics, technical communication, technical illustration, or related field. Strong illustration skills, and previous experience from comparable work are all essential qualifications.
Apart from the above, we believe that you are interested in exploring and learning more about our technology and that you have an interest in communicative and informative illustration design. The person we are looking for needs to be well-structured, have cooperation skills, and ability to plan projects based on given deadlines and prioritize tasks in an efficient way.
You must have experience and knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, particular strong skills in Illustrator. In this role we value if you have skills in 3D CAD (preferably PTC Creo Parametric, PTC Creo Illustrate and PDM-Link/Windchill), but this is not a requirement. Good English skills are essential.
