Job description
As Team Manager Production you will be a vital link in our Supply Chain organization that serves our world-wide customer base. You will take a high responsibility for a large group of employees, providing direction and development both from a technical and people related perspective. This is a challenging position with excellent career and development opportunities for a team player with drive and an open mindset.
Your challenge:
• Lead and develop your production / packaging teams on various alternating shifts (15 -25 people)
• Responsible that our "Safety First" culture is lived in every aspect of your team's work
• Responsible for the continuous development of a Quality mindset in thought and action across your team
• Maintain high productivity (OEE) and plan attainment
• Be guided by Our Credo values in all your decision making and in the relationship with your team
• Effectively manage the cost in your area of responsibility within the assigned budget
• Independently lead Lean/Six Sigma projects as part of your focus on continuous improvement
• Responsible for continuous improvement of processes and improvement projects as well as representation on the company's behalf during audits from authorities and external customers
• Focus strongly on training and developing your team to strengthen their technical, project and people competences
• You will report directly to one of our section managers in production
Who are you?
Your professional background:
• Preferably you hold an academic degree in engineering or alternatively an upper secondary technical school degree with supplementary technical training
• You have a track record of at least three years management / leadership experience, preferably in a "Lean Manufacturing" environment
• Green Belt certification or higher plus accompanying experience in related improvement projects will serve you well in this role.
• You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and in English.
Your personality:
• You take personal ownership and full accountability for results
• You have strong interpersonal skills, are able to develop your team and are keen to drive change
• You are a team player who is performance driven, result-oriented and analytical.
• You are comfortable to alternate between daytime work and shift work (evening/night) as the team that you will manage works in shifts.
