In the Hardware & Mechatronics department within the unit Connected Experience, we transform ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of connected vehicles - both present and future. Now we are looking for curious, creative people who want to change the world through innovative thinking - specifically a passionate Team Manager.
In the ecosystem of the connected experience that we provide to our customers, our audio system teams are responsible for hardware-, software- and system development of the complete audio functionality in the cars. Apart from the sound systems the responsibility also includes active noise cancellation systems, microphones, bluetooth handsfree and exterior sound for electrical vehicles. Project management and audio tuning is also part of the team's responsibilities. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles.
We use modern tools and agile methods to constantly create business value to our customers. We ensure high quality and adaptability in our development and deliveries. Of course, we have a lot of fun together while doing it.

What you'll do
You'll support the engineers on your team by removing obstacles and helping them grow. You'll contribute to agile ways of working, through technical leadership and close collaboration with product owners, scrum masters, other teams and leaders. You are a person that have adopted a lean agile mind-set, applied a servant leadership, have good communication skills and collaborate well.
The team's tasks will span all the way from contributing to research projects, concept studies to rolling out large-scale and high-quality products. You will work with teams across the company, across the globe, across many functions, such as product management and business development, and with external companies as well as academia
You and your skills
We are looking for an experienced hardware/mechatronic engineering manager, who have previously built and led engineering teams. You have experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration as well as a strong sense of business. To succeed in this role, it is a clear advantage to have working experience from automotive or audio industry. You probably have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong people management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting. It is also important that you are continuously developing your own skills and guide and coach your teams to continuously develop theirs.
