hela Sverige We're looking for a passionate and experienced Team Lead Automation & Controls to join an innovative and high-performing team. In this key role, you'll lead a team of Automation Engineers and Technicians, driving technical excellence in the development of cutting-edge automated production systems, robotics, vision technology, and smart material handling solutions.

What You'll Do:
Lead and mentor a team of Automation Engineers and Technicians
Plan resources and competencies to meet both long- and short-term goals
Conduct design reviews and deliver robust software and hardware automation solutions
Develop automation specifications and control system architectures
Translate factory and manufacturing needs into automation process requirements
Design and test control panels.
Integrate automation systems including robotics (KUKA, FANUC, ABB), AGVs, conveyors, and vision systems
Develop and execute test protocols, from FAT to SAT
Collaborate cross-functionally with Process, Industrialization, and Manufacturing teams to enhance productivity and efficiency
Identify and implement energy-saving technologies and advanced system upgrades
Manage key supplier relationships in automation and robotics
What You Bring:
Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or related field
10+ years in industrial automation in high-tech manufacturing (automotive, medtech, pharma, semiconductors, etc.)
Deep experience in PLC/SCADA programming (Siemens TIA, Beckhoff) and OPC/MES integration
Hands-on experience with robotics (KUKA, FANUC, ABB), servo drives, and motion systems
Skilled in creating technical documentation and functional design specs
Strong understanding of HMI, sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Strong interest in emerging tech - AI, machine vision, data science, and automation trends
