We are currently looking to recruit a TCMS Test Lead Engineer for our team in Västerås
Purpose of the job
As a Test Lead Engineer within TCMS you will work closely with the Product Team Manager, the Product Development Lead Engineer and the Product Architect with planning and execution of verification and validation activities with our HMI products. You will plan, define and perform product tests as well as working out and continuously improve a long term test strategy for our product suite. Test strategies and methods for test should be aligned together with Test Lead Engineers in the global TCMS organization.
Test activities should be planned and executed in various projects at the same time, where you will work closely together with the project manager for each project to set individual test expectations from one project to the other. Test activities should be run according to our processes and an already established global TCMS test strategy, where one key area is to continuously work with improvement initiatives. As a Test Lead Engineer you will lead this work.
Key responsibilities
• Planning and follow up of all the testing activities
• Development of test strategy and test methods
• Reporting to Project Managers and Product Team Manager of all the test related activities: test, verification and validation
Qualifications
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
3 to 5 years experience in the field of software engineering
• Knowledge in TCMS visualization products & product development process
• Technical leadership skills with the ability to plan for and follow-up of test related activities
• Experience in problem solving, able to make decisions
• Multi-cultural awareness, since test activities are supposed to be performed both in Sweden and India
• Fluent English is mandatory, Swedish is considered an advantage
