We are now looking for a Technical Expert Located at the Malmö office in Sweden. The position will report to the Product Support Services Manager.
This position is primarily responsible for the support of TAC products using in-depth knowledge of company hardware and software. This position is responsible for providing support to customers in the form of technical support, problem simulations, and product testing.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represents the company in dealing with customers to ensure satisfaction with TAC products.
Provides technical support on TAC products/services to internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner.
Assumes Primary support responsibilty for one TAC core product and Secondary support responsibility at least one other TAC core product.
Supports the launch of new products and/or technologies.
Conducts site investigations for product deficiencies.
Provides "Pre-sales Support" to evaluate proposed solutions, network configurations and choice of hardware, etc.
Assists in the collection, compilation, and reporting of system problems.
Performs laboratory simulations of reported field product problems.
Enters details of all support activities into the Department Case Tracking System Software.
DESIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills including the ability to relate technical terminology to Customers, listen effectively, and solicit input from others.
Advanced ability to use Microsoft PC Operating Systems.
Structured technical troubleshooting skills.
Intermediate ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
