Join Nynas as a Turnaround and Pitstop Planner and take on a key role, where you'll be at the heart of a high-impact project that brings people, planning, and precision together. Help us ensure the safe and efficient execution of our next major turnaround.
About The Role
At Nynas, we carry out a major turnaround every four years- a large-scale, scheduled event where refinery operations are temporarily shut down to allow for intensive maintenance, inspections, and upgrades. These complex undertakings involve many internal and external stakeholders working closely together under a compressed timeline. To ensure a safe, efficient, and successful execution, a dedicated team is responsible for coordinating all planning and operational aspects.
As a Turnaround and Pitstop Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of accurate, structured planning and progress reporting for turnaround projects. Your focus will be on the operational side: creating logical, transparent schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring adherence to timelines. In addition, the role includes tactical responsibilities such as developing and improving planning processes and reporting methodologies to support future turnarounds.
This position is based at our Nynäshamn refinery and reports to the Turnaround Manager. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including cost controllers, engineers, and turnaround managers, to collect and validate scheduling data and ensure consistent reporting and planning alignment.
In return, we offer a dynamic and engaging role within a committed team. You'll have the opportunity to grow professionally and contribute to an established and successful company.

About You
To succeed in this role, you have a structured and analytical mindset, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-paced environment. We believe you have strong communication and coordination skills. You work effectively in a team environment and build consensus. You are hands-on, solution-oriented, and not afraid to take ownership.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
