The offer
As System Tester, you'll play an important part in implementing and ensuring quality assurance in dozens of business-critical applications across the bank. You'll be responsible for end to end testing of new development and regression testing existing functionalities.
In Digital Banking, we are accountable for developing new state-of-the-art digital solutions to our customers, maintaining existing digital solutions and operating underlying IT platforms and applications. You'll join the Shared QA Services team in Digital Banking Engineering (DBE). We work in an agile software development framework (SAFe), determined to reach our common goal; to deliver the best digital customer experience to Nordea customers.
What you'll be doing:
• The primary duties include test analysis as well as developing test scenarios and test scripts and test execution.
• Reviewing and analyzing business requirements and system designs
• Designing, creating and maintaining both manual and automated test cases
• Executing tests on component, integration and system level
• Reporting defects and helping developers with the debugging when needed
The role is based in Stockholm. Welcome to a global team with colleagues in the Nordic countries - primarily in Helsinki, Stockholm, Oulu and Copenhagen. We're an ambitious team working in a diverse, highly international environment. You need to be open to some travel within the Nordic region.

Your background:
• Highly experienced in testing and quality assurance methodologies, test tools and best practices.
• Profound knowledge and understanding of agile software development and you have already worked with software testing for several years.
• High level of technical skills in various IT environments as our system portfolio consists of infrastructure applications running in a very complex environment on mainframes, UNIX and Windows.
• Adequate knowledge of web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures) and front end solutions (e.g. applications on iOS/Android).
• Understanding of system test of complex systems (banking domains is a major advantage too and general knowledge of Netbank and Mobile banking applications)
• Excellent communication skills, and you're fluent in both English and Swedish
• Previous work experience with the tools used within DBE is a strong advantage but not a requirement; TestRail, Cucumber, CA Agile Central (former Rally), Confluence, Splunk and Jenkins.
