We are a group of 12 and we are now searching for a enthusiastic and sharp system owner for our autonomous steering actuator!
Your tasks
You will be responsible for planning, develop and secure deliveries for our autonomous steering actuator. The steering actuator is enabling an autonomous computer to steer the wheels of the vehicle so that the vehicle will be able to follow a certain route. You are expected together with colleagues to understand the needs and requirements on the steering actuator from different autonomous initiative, plan and implement the needed functions together with the supplier, test the implemented SW and release it to the initiative at the right time. Focus will be to have an autonomous steering actuator that can help us take the step to driverless operation.
We are working mostly with purchased products together with suppliers in an agile way but are going more and more in the direction of in-house developed actuators. We test all of our products in complete vehicle to see that everything is working as expected in reality and that we have considered every aspects. You will therefor be able to take C-license as part of your job. We work together with cross functional groups within mechanic, integration and autonomy. In this position you will also work close to Project and Object Managers to answer to that we deliver in the right time for different projects but also break down the master time plan in a system time plan with clear tasks for the team to reach the goals in the master time plan. This will make you get a broad network within Scania, varying tasks and you will contribute to real results of what we work with!
This is some of the tasks you will work with:
• Keep the time plan for the system both internally at Scania and externally with supplier
• Break down the deliveries into smaller tasks
• Plan, priorities and execute the backlog of the system together with the team
• Responsible of keeping technical meetings with supplier
• Understand the requirements and needs on your system
• Drive the functions development together with supplier to reach the requirements and needs on your system
• Verify that functions and SW that are implemented in your system is working on a system and complete vehicle level.
• Responsible of documentation around your system like System Description, FMEA, TARA
• Responsible of documentation and release of your system to production
Your profile

You have a master or bachelor of science in areas like electronics/data/mechatronics/mechanics and have 2 to 5 years of experience in developing embedded systems, preferably within Scania. You can communicate well in English and Swedish. Good communication skills in German is also meritorious.
