hela Sverige The group "Transmissions & Axles" within the Powertrain Development department is responsible for the installation of transmissions (APS, SMT and AMT), retarders and axle systems (propeller shaft, drive axle and portal axle). The overall responsibility for the group is to secure that all systems and components within Transmission & Axles fulfills given quality, delivery, cost and feature requirements. Approx. 10 co-workers works in the group.
We are now looking for a System Owner within the area of Axle systems. The assignment is during a limited period, 1st of December 2014 ? 31st of December 2015. The person who is on the position today will be on maternity leave.
Work as an Axle System Owner involves mainly the following tasks:
• Defining and evaluating axle system concepts and according to QDCF and make recommendations in projects and further follow-up and secure PAA for concerned system and given project.
• Secure the interfaces and requirements between the transmission and interacting systems.
• To drive the development of Technical Road Map as well as secure knowledge capture within the system area and update guidelines.
• Main technical supplier contact
• DCN approver for the system
• DRM material approval
• Approve test requests
• Approve test and simulation results conducted on system
• Make quotations for projects and PMRs
The work involves extensive contacts with other groups within product development and other functions e.g. purchasing, production as well as external contacts, with our other sites within the company and with suppliers.
Qualifications
• Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
• Global Development Process (GDP) knowledge preferable
• Some technical knowledge about axels is preferable
• Flexible, positive and open minded
• Quality and delivery mindset
• Good communication and coordination skills required
• Strong ability to co-operate as well as being able to work independently
• Structured way of working and having planning skills
• Supplier handling and negotiation knowledge
• Good knowledge in KOLA and Protus
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• An advantage if you have experience from Bus or Truck Industry
