We are now looking for a driven system engineer within HVDC to our client in Ludvika. Here, you will be welcomed to a company that works to create efficient and sustainable energy solutions and is actively involved in the green transition. As a system engineer, you will be part of a team with other engineers, working together on long-term projects that extend over several years.
The role involves being responsible for implementing and integrating features that match both customer and market requirements. The purpose of the role is to work with the design and implementation of systems, networks, and cybersecurity in HVDC projects, with a focus on OT - HMI, SCADA, and automation. A large part of the work is carried out in the lab, where you will test and work directly with the equipment being designed, providing a varied daily work experience and the opportunity to truly understand the functionality of the systems.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Work tasks
• Work with the design and implementation of systems, networks, and cybersecurity in HVDC projects, focusing on OT - HMI, SCADA, and automation
• Build the complete infrastructure of networks and systems that support operations
• Ensure that systems meet defined security levels
• Actively contribute to identifying and capturing improvement opportunities
VI SÖKER DIG SOM
• You have a university degree in a relevant technical field, preferably with a focus on automation or computer science, or equivalent work experience
• You have experience with human machine interface design and testing, preferably with platforms like Aveva, Micro SCADA, or similar
• You have experience working with IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, or similar, and knowledge of scripting languages and automation technologies
• You have experience with databases and network equipment such as firewalls and switches
• You can communicate fluently in both written and spoken English, as all internal and external communication is conducted in English
• You can work on-site in Ludvika and has a clear plan for commuting to and from work
It is a merit if you have
• Experience with Microsoft server operating systems, AD, or any security systems
