Since 2013 CEVT has grown rapidly and now keeps some 2000 people busy. China Euro Vehicle Technology AB is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.
We are looking for a System Engineer to be part of defining requirements and securing successful implementation of new automotive systems and functions. As a System Engineer , you will be responsible for one or more vehicle functions, working closely with Function Owners, Component Owners, other System Engineers, and suppliers to define system requirements for vehicle functions, as well as secure that implementation and test are in place for a high quality product.
Based in Lindholmen, Gothenburg you will be working closely with one or more supplier development teams and sub-suppliers, customers and stakeholders across organizations to ensure that the intended customer value is delivered.
To succeed in this role you have previous experience of working with vehicle systems and are comfortably leading and inspiring others, as well as driving projects and engage effectively in cross-functional organizations. To thrive in this team we believe you are curious and enjoy to take on a large responsibility and are able to act autonomously as well as supporting and working together with the development teams. We hope that you are comfortable in pushing the boundaries of what is possible in order to make our solutions exciting, new and reliable.
Main focus in your role:
• Own the system area for one or more vehicle functions, including requirement definition, execution planning and critical path timeplan management, securing test coverage, and successful system launch.
• Support the development teams in requirement clarification and product improvements.
Qualifications and key attributes:
• M.Sc. Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar and work experience within automotive system engineering and/or function ownership, including infotainment.
• Inspiring and motivating person who great at supporting teams to get things done.
• You are good at communicating and influence decision-making at all levels within an organization and contexts.
• Ability to travel to Asia (approx. 3-5 per year) and intercultural proficient.
• You are fluent in English
