Radio Access Network Transmission Unit develops products in the radio-network solution. Our unit has a small-company approach, but a big company's possibilities in terms of resources and career and competence development. Ericsson's main business in Linköping is the development of radio-network control within mobile systems.
IP and Ethernet are the future technologies for our customers, providing cost-effective transmission solutions for mobile systems. We are responsible for the solution with focus on system and software design and verification.
Job Description
Our world-class mobile systems need constant upgrading, and we are looking for creative and innovative software engineers who can help us prepare for future demands. As well as supporting us with system analysis and design, you will contribute in the development of software using C/C++ running on Linux. Furthermore you will work with verification including test analysis, design and execution. In return, you will gain experience in cutting-edge technology in an international environment that inspires you to develop and grow.
Qualification
You enjoy working with and learning about the entire product offering. You are keen to solve problems as they arise and do so creatively. You work well independently but are also a team player who puts a lot of focus on achieving results on time and with high quality.
• A newly degree in Computer Science or eguivalent
• Experience with C, C++, Java and J-unit
• Experience in IP technology such as protocol, routing, switching and IP applications
• Good written and spoken English and Swedish
