hela Sverige Sandvik IT Services is the Sandvik Group's internal company with responsibility for infrastructure, application development and system management in the IT area.
System Area Managers (SAMs) have an end-to-end responsibility for all IT services delivered within a specific system area. This includes projects, application management and expert resources. The SAMs are also involved and act within the demand process, together with the Customer Business Manager (CBM) for Delivery Area SMC. We are now looking for a System Area Manager, based in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
As System Area Manager you will have the main responsibility for services delivered by the specific System Area. You will work closely with Project Managers and AM Coordinators to manage the day-to-day business. Your main tasks will be to:
• Lead the people within the system area to achieve the delivery objectives
• Be responsible for resource management
• Plan, coordinate, lead and perform follow-up of agreed services, projects, application management and expert resources
• Work with requests and offers, tactical and strategic planning within your system area, together with the CBM
• Ensure that necessary administration is carried out efficiently and with a smile
You report to the Delivery Manager.
Your profile
The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant field and has an interest in and experience from customer-driven environments. You have an understanding of how IT solutions support Sandvik's business, enjoy challenges and seek to establish durable customer relations.
You are service-minded and solution-oriented with an outside-in focus. You are a skilled communicator with a great interest in interacting with representatives from all parts of the organization and you communicate well in English, both written and spoken.
