There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the development of our new products. Volvo Group Trucks Technology has an increased need of skilled engineers within the Global Technology Area Driver Electronics located in Gothenburg.
We are looking for new employees with passion to work and develop sustainable transport solutions with pioneering products and services for the transport and infrastructure industries.
Position Description:
We are now looking for an exceptional SW developer in the Infotainment or Climate area. You will work in an x-functional team, agile team that is responsible for the cluster or climate SW. To deliver world class products in this area we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost. You will be working with core technologies which will give you the opportunity to make a major impact in the way Volvo develop and test its products.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for implementation of truck functions, supporting all development activities related to the SW.
• Responsible for integrating the SW on a HW including communication with HW suppliers.
• Responsible for harmonization of SW between brands, segments and markets.
• Take part of pre-studies, provide and maintain concept solutions for the instrument cluster or climate module.
• Participate and support advanced engineering projects related to the instrument cluster or climate area

Qualifications:
You should have a genuine passion for embedded software development.
Proficiency in C and Autosar products
You should be able to have a dialogue on the right level with the suppliers.
Experience from Agile development is a merit.
Excellent collaborative skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience of software development in automotive, preferably from the automotive industry is required.
