The Supply Chain Planning team, responsible for wound care products and located at HQ in Gothenburg, is now recruiting a Supply Chain Planner.
Publiceringsdatum2012-08-22Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Supply Chain Planning team evaluates actual sales, sales forecast, service and inventory levels weekly and takes actions on both short and long term horizon to ensure customer satisfaction and a continuously improving supply chain efficiency. The Supply Chain Planning team currently consists of four Supply Chain planners each responsible for specific assortments. The aim of this role is to balance demand and supply within the assortment to ensure that the customer service and the inventory objectives along the entire supply chain are continuously met. This means among other things:
• Analyse and report performance of the supply chain, identify issues proactively and develop action plans, using SAP (MM & APO) and excel
• Manage SAP master data relevant to planning
• Plan, monitor and control stock levels from end-to-end for your assortment
• Analyse capacity and master plan together with Supply point to ensure the right production priorities are made
• Represent Supply Chain Planning in development projects
• Participate actively to the Supply Chain Planning Team's objectives and shared responisbilites
• Develop knowledge and support continuous improvement programs to achieve service levels, productivity targets and business performance throughout the Supply Chain
In this position you have a key role in ensuring a high level of service and act as a link between customers and supply points. You also collect, evaluate and question the information from the markets prior sales and planned sales activities in order to assure the quality of the forecasts. The work involves close cooperation and a broad network of contacts within the company. You continuously monitor the flow, inform stakeholders and take proactive counter measure to ensure that agreed targets are met.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We believe that you have a University Degree in Business and/or Industrial engineering or equival education. You have at least 3-5 years experience of a Supply Chain Planning role, preferably in an international environment. You are an experienced and highly skilled user of SAP ( MM and APO- module) and MS Excel.
In order to succeed in this role you need a good balance between detailed focus and an good understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain to make correct priorities and operate successfully within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You also need to have good organisational, communication, influencing and networking skills to drive improvements across functions. The preferred candidate is performance driven with a high energy level, ability to work independently and has a strong customer focus. Some travelling will be required.
To communicate effectively you need an excellent level of both written and spoken English, the corporate language. You preferably also have a good knowledge of Swedish.
