SKF's extensive knowledge of rotating equipment is captured in Machine Health's products, enabling SKF to accurately predict bearing failure in our customer's equipment.
Your main responsibility as Supply Chain Manager will be to lead, support and develop the supply chain (i.e Suppliers, Purchasing, Demand fulfilment) for business specific suppliers and products located globally.
Job responsibilities:
• To establish excellent communication and relationship with the different working partners within and outside SKF
• To be responsible for inventories and service from the supplier to the customer
• To be responsible for management of the supplier service, planning, procurement of goods and materials required.
• To ensure that supply chain processes are implemented and followed including QBR partnership model
• To ensure all efforts to improve total cost from suppliers are maintained
• To continuously contribute to improvement of existing and development of new processes
• To manage the supply chain planners
• To manage vendor support from Tech Ops engineer
• To participate in development projects as team member or commercial lead
• To manage the supplier order handling process from forecast to the delivery of the order (MRP BTO etc.)
• To handle quotations according to local delegation rules and proactive follow-up
• To ensure all SKF/country standards of control including financial are complied with
• To run suppliers according to the SKF code of conduct, EHS and Quality policies, and work according to the SKF Quality Management System.
Job Requirements:
• Must hold a relevant CIPS qualification (or equivalent)
• 2-5 year experience gained in a similar role
Personal profile:
• Excellent command of English and Swedish, spoken and written
• Willing and able to travel occasionally
• Must be able to manage, influence and motivate a team . Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Able to follow established working practices/standards
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage a high volume variable workload
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
