The Department of Strategy & Processes assures the upholding and continuous development of methods, strategies, processes and systems/tools as global lead function within Scania Group Purchasing.
Job description
You will have a global responsibility for regression process and the development of the process. You will support the product managers and purchasing with dealing of regress demands towards our suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Effectiveize and develop the regression process in cross-functional cooperation with the purchasing and product management organization. Coordinate regressive activities after decisions in the product follow-up process and drive them to completion. Compile/Summarize facts about each case and calculate potential regress sums using warranty statistics and campaign support. Write regress letters and send them to the review team. Be the contact person for the regression process within the VW Truck & Bus group. Responsible for reporting and communicating KPI's and status regarding ongoing regression cases. The main customer of the information is the purchasing management.
Authorities:
Drive process development and make decisions in accordance with delegated responsibility
Sign and send regress letter to the suppliers. Issue invoice data according to negotiated results and agreements with supplier/s.
Your profile
We are looking for a communicative, positive and driven person. You are cross-functional oriented, flow-driven and you like to work within teams and with different projects at the same time. Required is an open minded person able to moderate discussions, align different opinions and develop a best possible way of working granting conformity to current processes and Corporate Governance. Your skills include analytic skills, fast learning, logical thinking and a holistic view.
You have a degree from university and aside of passion for processes you are interested in improvements, efficiency as well as IT systems and applications.
Leadership and good communication skills as well as ability to create confidence and trust among our internal customers is vital.
You are fluent in both written and oral English.
