hela Sverige Valueone is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer for a consultant assignment at a global manufacturing company in Västerås. The assignment lasts for six months with possibilities for extension.
The role
As Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for evaluating the company's suppliers and reviewing 8D reports. During the assignment you will be driving improvement projects with the suppliers and drive corrective action plans. You will be working in close collaboration with production, purchasing and R&D to improve the overall quality of purchased materials.
Main tasks:
Contact the suppliers and provide feedback on what is detected in production.
Perform annual audits on selected suppliers.
Work as a project team member in production and SCM projects.
Participate in supplier evaluations and drive corrective actions plans for different activities as PPM reduction.
Experience and competencies
For this role we are looking for someone who has minimum two years' experience from working as a Supplier Quality Engineer. You have a bachelor's degree in relevant field and are familiar with castings, machining, mechanical components, or cable/harness, as well as process audits. You are knowledgeable in ISO 9001.
As a person you have good communication skills and thrives in roles where you get to work in a team. This role demands fluency in English, both written and spoken. You understand and speak Swedish.
