The summer job at Vattenfall is an opportunity for you as a student to gain experience and insights into what it is like to work at a large Swedish energy company. You will meet numerus people with different experiences who can contribute to your development and network. You who either have a summer break from studies, will begin a new education in the autumn, or will complete an education during the spring semester can apply for a summer job with us. Your work assignments
You will belong to Staff Function Procurement (FP) which is at the core of Vattenfall's current transformation.
The group Procurement Excellence (FPE) is supporting this transformation by implementing more agile, digital and sustainable ways of working.
As a summer worker and part of the FPE Analytics team you will be at the center of this transformation by implementing analytical solutions that creates transparency and value for decision makers, as well as creating new insights through managing internal and external data. As FPE Analytics team we aim transform Vattenfall into a data-driven company.
You will have the following key tasks:
• Support the implementation of analytical solutions across Procurement
• Help develop & drive a culture of data driven decision making through analytical insights
• Supporting data cleanup & keeping data up to date and accurate in Procurement systems
• Work hand in hand with SAP / Tools experts and subject matter experts supporting all system related issues and developments
• Collaborating on issue solving and changes related to the implementation & integration of internal digital applications
• Support in the development of requested reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Any ad-hoc analytics & reporting work
You will have ample opportunities to make a difference and have an exciting opportunity to work with real issues across organizational departments and deal with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Your qualifications
We are looking for you that have:
* Graduated from High school
• Analytical (processes) knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills, are a team player
• Exceptional problem solving skills
• Very good knowledge of English in both speech and writing
It is an advantage if you have:
• Graduated with an academic degree
• Experience working with Procurement change management
• Knowledge of Procurement processes and systems
• Data Management experience
• Knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
We think that you can support to drive a process from idea to practice. You learn through experimentation, strives to achieve goals and results regardless of success or setbacks. Further you can manage uncertainty since you may not have the entire picture when implementing new ways of working or improvements. It comes natural for you to always seek feedback to increase your self-awareness.
