What do we offer?
At Volvo Cars we have a high focus on Child Safety and today we provide different Volvo branded child seats in the range from newborn up to an age of 12 years.
At Research & Development (R&D) we are a small but dedicated team that works with Child safety and we have a close collaboration with our colleagues at our Safety centre.
What you'll do
The focus with the summer internship is to make a benchmark and trend analysis of future technologies regarding child seats and which features future parents would like to have on a child seat.
Depending on the corona pandemic, the work might also include to visit different Volvo retailers in Gothenburg and investigate what information they would need to easier help the customer to choose the correct child seat for their child and for their car.
As a summer intern you will mostly work independently together with another student.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you who are currently studying a Bachelor or Master of science in engineering (preferably within Product development, Mechanical or similar).
You have knowledge within customer surveys & market analysis and you have good oral, written & presentation skills. You have no problems working independently and prefer to plan your own work. You are also a great team player since you most likely will conduct the work together with another student. You are welcome apply for the summer job as a pair.
You need to have a Driver's license.
Location: Gothenburg
Duration
Period for summer internship is between 1 June - 31 August 2021, max 10 weeks. Start and end time to be discussed with recruiting manager
