Our Business Analyst will be on parental leave and we are now looking for you, a student who can cover for her during the period 13/9-21 - 13/9-22 (with some flexibility). You will work 30-50% and of course you will have some days of training before she leaves.

Kollmorgen Automation AB is a part of Kollmorgen and we have our headquarter in Mölndal, Sweden and with offices in the US and China. The target is to provide world leading technology for the rapidly growing market of AGVs and Mobile Robots. About 120 employees are working with product development, professional services, sales, marketing and finance.
About the job as a Business Analyst
In this position you will be a part of the Product Management Team, which today consists of 9 people - four Product Managers, three Product Owners, one UX Designer and one Business Analyst.
The purpose of the Business Analyst role is to support strategic business decisions through critical insights based on analytics of our market, macro environment, competition, customers, business and products. Furthermore, the purpose it to support teams by collect the right sort of data, analyze and present results to identify opportunities and challenges.
You will have continuous contact with our Product Managers, Sales Department and partly with our customers as well as other functions in the organization.
In your work as a Business Analyst you will
• first of all, have a flexible schedule since you are studying! One day a week should be set for weekly updates, but if you have any exam you will of course be able to schedule your work accordingly.
As a Business Analyst you will deliver knowledge/data of the Market and Industry through:
• Competitor Analysis - Collect information and create competitor analysis to give a market update.
• Market Proxy - Look into similar companies and their quarterly reports to see how they are doing and understand if we are winning or losing in comparison to them.
• Support our Product Managers by giving them information about how it is going with our products.
• Your own engagement, interests, and curiosity - You will get the opportunity to learn and explore within the position and come up with your own ideas!
We are looking for you
• . who are analytic, data driven, and interested in digging deeper into data to find relevant information. You find yourself good at desktop research and can connect the dots and find the things that other might not, and when you cannot find all data you need, you are confident in getting out of the building to find the relevant data needed.
Furthermore, you are a good communicator who can present information to both internal and external customers. To come up with new ideas and ways of doing things comes naturally to you and you always strive for improvements!
Must have
• You will be studying 3rd, 4th or 5th year this fall within Industrial Engineering, Master of Science in Economics or similar.
• Have some knowledge from school/work on different business models, competitor analysis and tools to structure data.
• Analytical and data driven mindset.
• Good communication skills.
Extra job during pandemic times
Since March 2020 we have been working remote, until we have new recommendations from the Swedish government we will continue to work from home. We are happy that we can offer extra job and from last years' experience we are confident that we can still offer a good experience!
When we can go back to the "new normal" our office is located near Sisjön, during our lunches you will have the opportunity to go for a run or a swim in the summer. We have flexible working hours and we also have a gym located in the building, all employees have access and on Mondays we have a common gym-workout.
Every student who has been up late to study for an exam know how important coffee is , we offer you good fair trade coffee with fresh milk! If you don 't like coffee we have tea and always fresh fruit if you get hungry.
