hela Sverige We are looking for several specialist/senior physicians in radiology with a focus on mammography to our Radiology Department at Linköping University Hospital.
The Radiology Department at Linköping University Hospital conducts highly specialized diagnostic imaging activities as well as teaching, development and research. The department has approximately 220 employees, of which around 70 are doctors. We have an open and pleasant working climate and we view personal and professional development, including research, positively. Our research activities are at the forefront and are largely conducted at the Center for Medical Imaging and Visualization (CMIV).

Our mammography department consists of approximately 40 employees, of which five are specialist physicians in radiology. At the University Hospital in Linköping, you find the clinical reception where patients who, among other things, come on referral or have been recalled after their screening examination in the region are received. The screening units are in turn located in Linköping, Norrköping and Motala. Our team is characterized by high competence and job satisfaction.
Job description
Mammography activities with X-ray and ultrasound are in focus at the section, but MRI examinations are also part of the review work, not least before multidisciplinary conferences. Development within all modalities is ongoing and we are looking for a new colleague with an interest in both X-ray, ultrasound and MRI. We offer modern equipment at the department and have introduced Vacuum Assisted Excision (VAE) and are working towards the introduction of contrast mammography. Furthermore, the clinic is at the forefront of clinical use of AI support where extensive research has been conducted locally.

Requirements
- Registered as a specialist physician in radiology/ mammography within the EU/EEA citizenship
- English language proficiency at CEFR level B2
- Basic computer skills
- Merits for work experience within the medical area
- Knowledge in MRI is an asset, including MRI-guided biopsies as well as research experience

Terms of employment
Before moving to Sweden you need to reach a certain level in the Swedish language and have your medical training recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (

If the trial period will be proved satisfactory and you demonstrate required skills recognized by the County Council of Östergötland, it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.
All contracts follow local and national collective agreements. Salary are set individually depending on your qualification and experience.
