As SPECIALIST HEALTH & SAFETY within the group Health & Safety Operations at Human Resources you will deliver specialist services within Health & Safety. You will work directly towards the Torslanda plant and secure that appropriate actions are taken according to laws and VCC routines. The organisation Health & Safety's responsibility is to globally secure VCC prerequisites to fulfill legal compliance and corporate strategy ambitions within work environment, including company health services and wellness programme. One of VCC's overall objectives is to be the employer of choice and to offer a good and safe work environment is fundamental in this ambition.
This position will be on a Temporary contract of one year.
Job profile:
• Support the line management on Health & Safety issues
• Establish and maintain common processes, tools and policies
• Participate in development projects
• Participate in risk management
• Plan and execute classes in Health & Safety topics
• Act as chemical coordinator for the group
Your profile:
• Experience in working with the Work Environment Act
• Experience from work environment Chemicals handling
• Higher education in Health, Safety & Environment, Chemistry
• Strong in documentation
• Organised and structured in following up the work
• Ability to motivate and educate personnel
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
