As Specialist Health & Safety you are a part of Volvo Cars Health & Safety global team at Human Resources. Our responsibility is to secure Volvo Cars prerequisites to fulfill legal compliance and corporate strategy ambitions within work environment, including company health services and wellness program. You will support management teams on all levels to secure that appropriate actions are taken according to laws and Volvo Cars routines. One of Volvo Cars overall objectives is to be the employer of choice and to offer a good and safe work environment is fundamental in this ambition. You will be located in Gothenburg at the Torslanda production plant.

Main responsibilities
• Expert support to executive teams, managers and contact persons in their work to meet legal requirements and continually develop and improve the working environment

• Be an active partner in the systematic work environment. Be advisory in change processes, perform measurements, risk assessments as well as leading health and safety training courses

• Evaluate and follow up deliveries to secure that they meet specifications (quality requirements, corporate standards, legal and finance demands, etc)

• Responsible for creating routines and instructions within the area of health and safety, in Swedish and English, according to current Swedish and International laws and regulations

Required qualifications
• BSc.degree with specialisation in work environment or occupational health

• Minimum two years experience from the work environment area within industry/ production including risk management

• Fluent in English and Swedish language (written and spoken)

Personal qualities
• You are positive, driven and committed

• You have the capacity to innovate and are able to motivate and inspire others

• You are good at networking and communicating with others to ensure that procedures are understood and followed on every level

• You are able to work independently
