The Challenge...
Claim Assessment Warranty is a function within the Warranty & CAC Team that act as responsible for assessment of both warranty and service contract claims/payments to workshops within Mercedes-Benz' retail network in Sweden and Denmark
The Warranty & CAC Team is responsible for claim assessment of warranty and goodwill claims for Personal cars (PC), Vans and Trucks in Sweden and Denmark. Claim assessment for service contracts is done locally for Vans and Trucks and for PC it is outsourced to our NAC-center in Portugal. The team is also responsible for support both internally and to our dealers in warranty and service contract related issues, provides answers in goodwill requests towards our dealers and provides coaching and training to our dealer network. CAC handles customer complaints, request within our company, and is responsible for support to our outsourced Service 24h call center.
Including the Team Manager the team consists of seven dedicated professionals who aim for the highest level of quality and efficiency in our administrative processes and constantly strive to provide our customers and partners with qualified and speedy support and service excellence.
Working as a Warranty claim assessor your main work tasks will include:
• Warranty claim handling (PC, Vans And Trucks) in the Mercedes-Benz IT-system VEGA
• Service contract claim handling (Vans And Trucks) in the Mercedes-Benz IT-system VEGA
• Goodwill request handling
• Invoice approval
• Supporting and keeping our workshops up to date in warranty and service contract related issues. Participate in training and other events,
• Be responsible for the relationship to our outsourcing partner (NAC) as level two support for claim assessment and system- and process questions.
About You...
As a person, you are a fast learner with a driven and proactive personality. You are able to deliver a high output in an efficient way. At the same time, you are a good and helpful colleague that actively shares your knowledge.
Since you primarily will communicate to the Danish market, excellent verbal and written Danish skills are required, as are excellent skills in the English language.
It is important that while you have a good business understanding, you also are customer oriented in your decision-making. We believe that you bring solid experience from an auto workshop. Maybe you have worked as workshop manager, technician, service adviser, claim assessor or in a similar position. Should you not have this experience, then solid experience from a position as claim assessor within an insurance company could be valuable.
